ReplyDeleteI am new to Flash Builder and to the Flex environment, I have seen the the great possibilities of what one can achieve using these tools. And so i decided to download and install FlashBuilder 4.6 and start my journey trying to learn by following the "flex in a week" video tutorials by adobe, i have also downloaded the exercise zip files. Unfortunately for a beginner like me, its not easy to find help... not even from adobe itself...
i can edit and follow the tutorials in in both design and source modes but when i run the application the browser just displays a black page with the address bar pointing to the html project file in my -debug directory...
after a day of research i found out that adding an additional "-use-network=false" argument in the project>properites>flex compiler tab will display my work but will not show the video that has an address of http://adobetes.com/f45iaw100/ex1_02_video.flv which needs to use the network to be loaded. is there a way to fix this?... im running on FB default settings, and i dont know whats wrong...
i would greatly appreciate it if you could show me a couple tips or two to get me going with these training... i really want to learn...
